Singing Americans announce concert list

The North Carolina Singing Americans of Stanly County will perform during the Christmas concert season at the following locations:

• 3 p.m. Dec. 2, Grace Baptist Church;

• 3 p.m. Dec. 9, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

• 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11, Spring Arbor;

• 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13, Bethany Woods; and

• 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18, Stanly Manor.

Under the direction of Bob Remsburg, this 35-voice choir will present “A Thrill of Hope” created by Claire Cloninger and arranged by Camp Kirkland at performances scheduled for Grace Baptist Church and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

This arranged musical of carols and worship choruses shares the story of the hope that came to earth as a baby. Performances scheduled at the assisted living centers will include a special program of traditional Christmas carols.

The Singing Americans of Stanly County is an organization composed of singers who love God and country. This group has been active in the community continually since 1976.
