John “Jim” Calvin Morgan, Jr., age 71, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Mr. Morgan was born February 27, 1947 in Mecklenburg County to the late John Calvin Morgan, Sr. and the late Ruby Drake Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Carol Frances Morgan.
Jim was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan and loved to fish.
A graveside service will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:00PM at Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St. Albemarle officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry.
Survivors include step-son, William R. (Tisha) Brown of Albemarle; step-daughter, Kelly Voyles of China Grove; grandchildren, Courtney, Kayla, Abby, Nate, and Nicole Brown and Kassidy and Cora Voyles; brothers, Charlie W. Morgan and Guy L. Morgan and two nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, NC 28001.
