SCC enjoys Holiday on the Hill

College employees donned
costumes to help with the
festivities of Holiday on the
Hill. SCC accounts receivable/financial aid specialist Daniel Hatley portrayed a live Elf on the Shelf (above).
Stanly Community College celebrated its second annual Holiday on the Hill event.
SCC estimated more than 200 local residents attended this event.
Activities included Santa’s Workshop, Mrs. Claus’ Story time, a chorus singing carols, face painting, Christmas crafts and more. Additionally, SCC provided goody bags, hot chocolate and cookies.
Student Webb Center hosted beverages, face painting, holiday crafts, Christmas carols and more. (Right) Local residents Travis and Heather Phillips, along with their children Skylar, Bryce and Adalynn, attended the festivities. Here they are enjoying some crafts that were sponsored by the SCC Early Childhood program.
