Cirrie Louise Wolfe Kendall, age 96, of New London, N.C., passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26 at 2 p.m. at Kendall’s Baptist church where she was a member with receiving of friends and family in the Fellowship Building following the service.
Mrs. Kendall was born on September 11, 1922 in Mecklenburg Co., N.C., to the late Roy Monroe Wolfe, Sr. and Ottie Mae Dillinghan Wolfe.
She retired from First National Bank of Albemarle, NC.
She was married to the late Thomas Coyt Griffin, who preceded her in death February 14, 1977 and the late William “Bill” Kendall who preceded her in death June 8, 2016.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Stephen Griffin, and daughter, Linda G. (Anne) Kendall and husband Terrol, both of New London, N.C., sister Peggy Wolfe Morgan of Canton, N.C., six grandchildren, one predeceased grandchild, John Coyt Crumpton, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Stanly Funeral Home and cremation care of Albemarle is serving the Kendall family.
