The Gray Stone women’s basketball team stayed a half-game behind North Rowan for second place in the Yadkin Valley Conference standings with a 42-25 home win Wednesday over South Davidson.

Secorra Medley led the Knights (14-5, 9-3 YVC) with 11 points. Mallory Gardner was the top scorer for the Wildcats (10-9, 8-4) with 10.

Gray Stone has four YVC games left this season, including Friday’s game at North Rowan (12-9, 10-3).
