Mary Catherine Barringer, 85, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Mrs. Barringer was born May 16, 1933 to the late Luther and Mary Jane Poole.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alexander Barringer.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 am, Monday, February 11, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will conclude at the Richfield Cemetery on Depot Street, Richfield.
Mary was employed by Wiscassett Mills for several years. She enjoyed needlework and spending time outdoors, watching the birds and enjoying the gardens.
Survivors include: daughters, Cathy (Lane) Lowder of New London, Betty (David) Laton of Albemarle; grandsons, Steven Lowder, James (Candace) Lowder, Derrick Laton, Brian Laton; great-grandchildren, Allison Lowder, Weston Lowder, and Emma Lowder.
