The Albemarle women’s basketball team continued its march through the team’s conference schedule Friday with a 47-35 win at South Davidson.

Zycoria Tillman led the Bulldogs (22-1, 15-0 YVC) with 15 points while Armani Baldwin added 13. Somajhe Porter also reached double figures for the Bulldogs with 10.

Mallory Gardner was top scorer for the Wildcats (10-10, 8-5) with 13.

For Albemarle, Friday’s win was the Bulldogs’ 12th in a row. The Bulldogs, ranked eighth in the state in the 1A by MaxPreps and third in the latest NcPreps.com media poll, go for an undefeated YVC regular season Friday night at South Stanly.
