With a 17-point fourth quarter, the Gray Stone women’s basketball team rallied Friday for a 41-37 win at North Rowan.

Danielle Werts led the Knights (15-5, 10-3 YVC) with 11 points, while Secorra Medley added nine.

Hannah Wilkerson paced the Cavaliers (12-10, 10-4) and led all scorers in the game with 18, while Jamiya Daniels added 14.

Trailing 29-24 after three quarters, the Knights outscored North Rowan 17-8 in the final period for the four-point win.

Gray Stone’s win also keeps the Knights a half game ahead of the Cavaliers for second in the YVC.

The Knights have three games left in the regular season this week, starting Tuesday at Uwharrie Charter. Gray Stone plays at South Davidson Wednesday and returns home Friday to host North Stanly.
