Anyone looking for ghoulish or gory fun this weekend can head to the Mad Monster Party.

The horror convention is back Friday through Sunday at the University Hilton in Charlotte.

This horror and pop-culture convention brings stars from television, film and sports to the Queen City to meet with fans.

This year’s lineup includes Bruce Campbell (star of the “Evil Dead” films), Doug Jones (“The Shape of Water,” “Hellboy”), Ray Wise (“Twin Peaks,” “Agent Carter”) Adrienne Barbeau (“Creepshow,” “The Twilight Zone”), Kane Hodder (Jason in “Friday the 13th”) and Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding from “House of 1000 Corpses) and others. Former wrestling rivals the Iron Sheik and Sgt. Slaughter will be available for photos and a panel discussion.

Attendees have the opportunity to view collectibles and memorabilia. A costume contest, the annual Scares That Care charity auction, spooky karaoke, live music and monster makeup demos are also on tap.
