Stanly County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a 25-year-old woman missing since August.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday for Sasha Lee Naylor.

The alert said Naylor is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairment.

Sheriff Jeff Crisco said his office was made aware of her status Jan. 8 when an individual from a missing persons organization spoke on behalf of Naylor’s mother.

“We’ve been working the case actively,” Crisco said.

The alert was issued because she was pregnant and due to give birth in early February, Crisco said. Since there is no record of her giving birth, the alert was issued due to her safety and the safety of the child, Crisco said.

Naylor is described as 5-foot-4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has long red hair and blue eyes. The Sheriff’s Office says she has a barb wire tattoo with “Juanita” on her ankle, a baby feet tattoo on her back, a shamrock tattoo on her hip, “Catherine Mayo” tattooed on her left shoulder and she was wearing a cross necklace.

She was last seen at 24677 Kates Dr., Albemarle, and is believed to be traveling within Albemarle or in Parkersburg, W.Va., or Vincent, Ohio. She was last seen operating a brown or gold 1998 Ford Temp with an Ohio license plate of GRS-3043, and her last known contact was at the Community Inn on Aug. 21, 2018.

“We don’t know the circumstances surrounding her disappearance,” Crisco said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 704-986-3690.
