Our View: Goodman owes voters an apology

Speaking of someone who should not have ran for office in November, District 66 legislator Ken Goodman has apparently found a better job opportunity than the one the voters recently re-elected him to do.
Goodman has been appointed by Governor Cooper to the N.C. Industrial Commission. Sounds exciting doesn’t it?
Goodman has served four terms in the legislature and was just elected to his fifth term in November. It’s too bad he couldn’t have let the voters know about his dreams to be a member of the Industrial Commission before they went out to the polls to vote for him – again.
This sudden change is bad form from a person who has been a good representative for the area. Goodman owes the voters an apology for deciding not to finish what he started mid-term.
