Annie Mae Wishon, 98, of Concord, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Mrs. Wishon was born Dec. 22, 1920 in Stanly County to the late Benjamin Whitley and the late Mary Jane Morton Whitley.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin Wishon; and son, Bobby Ray Wishon.
Mrs. Wishon loved her friends and her church. She was a member at McGill Baptist Church. Annie’s interests included the adult coloring book and word search.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord officiated by the Rev. Steve Ayers and the Rev. Allen Scott.
Burial will follow the service at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis, at Highway 29 N. at I-85, Exit 58, Concord.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Smith and husband, Ted, of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Ted L. Smith II and Bobby Wishon Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
