Gray Stone Day School student Amanda Renee Dorsey served as a page with the N.C. Senate.

She is the daughter of Lawrence and Holly Dorsey of Albemarle.
She was sponsored by Sen. Carl Ford.

Statewide high school students in grades 9 through 12 serve as pages when the General Assembly is in session.

They perform duties for the senators and their office staff, attend daily Senate sessions and committee meetings and assist staff members with office duties during the week they serve in the legislature.
