North Stanly High School students inducted into National Honor Society, Beta Club
North Stanly High School had its induction ceremony for National Honor Society and Beta Club on Sunday. Twenty-three students were selected for membership into National Honor Society and 67 students were inducted into the Beta Club.
Members were selected by members of the faculty at North Stanly for meeting high standards of scholastic achievement, service, leadership and character.
The Beta Club was North Stanly’s original honor society and has been re-established at North to recognize a larger group of students who have achieved great levels of academic success and demonstrate outstanding character.
Students inducted into the Beta Club are:
Seniors: Madison Almond, Bryson Childress, Brody Lowder, Skylar Medlin, Abbigail Roseman, Malia Selke, Camille Shelton, Meredith Simpson, Anita Stirewalt, and Nalica Vang;
Juniors: Emily Almond, Aly Argento, Savannah Black, Savannah Burleson, Maggie Busch, Ashley Cody, Naethan De Los Reyes, Carlee Dixon, Dylan Eudy, Marylee Haywood, Summer Hinson, Elithe Hudson, Brinn Kimrey, Paige Lamp, Payton Landis, Peggy Lassiter, Colbie Lentz, Hope Lewallen, Nicole Lowder, Rhett Lowder, Lillian McRae, Kinley Morgan, Kong Xoua Moua, McKinley Rinehardt, Mallory Russell, Brianna Sedberry, Shelby Sides, Kelly Smith, Ryan Thompson, Ethan Walters, and Eli Williams;

The North Stanly High School chapter has been active since 1974. Each year the chapter sponsors several service projects for the school and community which in the last few years have included volunteering at the Stanly County Public Library Book Sale, volunteering with Relay for Life, assisting at the Special Olympics and serving as a part of the new Stanly County Teen Court.
