N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close the bridge on Salisbury Avenue over Little Long Creek in Albemarle this weekend for maintenance work.

The closure will be in place between U.S. Highway 52 and North First Street from 7 a.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Monday.

During the closure, motorists will be detoured from Salisbury Avenue to U.S. 52 and U.S. 52 Business to return to Salisbury Avenue.
