KFC coming to Locust

A KFC restaurant is coming to Locust.
It will be located at the southwest corner of Browns Hill Road and N.C. Highway 24-27, said Scott Efird, Locust’s planning and zoning director.
The restaurant is expected to break ground in June and should open in the latter part of the year, Efird said.
