FBI releases video of possible suspect in Credit Union robbery, others

The Charlotte Division of the FBI, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Albemarle Police Department, Concord Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation are seeking assistance to identify a suspect believed to be responsible for robbing three banks in North Carolina. The same robber is wanted for robbing the following banks:
• Wells Fargo, 13715 Conlan Circle, Charlotte, March 11;
• State Employees Credit Union, 1600 North Carolina Highway 24/27 Bypass West, Albemarle, March 25;
• BB&T Bank, 5145 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, April 8.
The suspect did not show a weapon but told bank tellers he had one. In each robbery, the suspect wore a baseball cap. He is described as a white male with a thin build. He has brown hair and facial hair.
During the robbery in Charlotte, he wore a hat with the North Carolina state flag, sunglasses, a black North Face jacket, blue jeans, and grey Nike tennis shoes with pink or orange soles.

The second camera from the teller’s station was altered to protect the identity of the teller. While the video does not clearly show the robber’s face, someone may recognize his clothing or the way he walks.
