Norwood’s Spring Tour of Homes will be May 5

- This home at 115 Forest Lake Court 1 in Norwood will be a part of the Spring Tour of Homes.
The Norwood Community Service Club will present the Spring Tour of Homes from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 5.
The tour will feature four homes in Eagle Pointe and two in Edgewater. Both are gated communities on Lake Tillery, so most of the homes have not been seen by the public, event coordinator Emma Rogers said. The tour will conclude with refreshments at the Edgewater Clubhouse.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Advance tickets are available at McRae Jewelers, Carolina’s Boutique and Gifts, Advertise It, Albemarle Nutrition, The Veranda Day Spa, Cohen Construction Company, Starnes Jewelers and AllState offices in Norwood, Albemarle and Oakboro.
The Norwood Community Service Club uses the proceeds to benefit area referrals from Stanly Community Christian Ministry, adopt families at Christmas and give scholarships to South Stanly seniors, Rogers said.
