Nine Stanly County residents will graduate from Wingate University with bachelor’s degrees on May 11.

Local graduates by hometown are:

Albemarle: Kiana Chantel Davis-Hill, exercise science fitness professional; David Charles Keever, educational studies in humanities; Leanne Elizabeth Mansfield, mathematics, summa cum laude with University Honors; and Megan Leann Watson, exercise science pre-professional, cum laude with University Honors.

Locust: Carolina Marie Boyuka, music performance, magna cum laude; and Christy Marie Thompson, biology and education.

Norwood: Heather Nicole Hudson, psychology, magna cum laude.

Oakboro: Kyle Adrian Lantz, finance.

Stanfield: Alex Meleia Oxendine, accounting.
