Spring Arbor was able to present a check for $600 to the Stanly County Humane Society following a recent fundraiser.
“This is a fundraiser that is near and dear to the hearts of the staff and residents at Spring Arbor,” Activity Director Christy Crisco said. “Every year they have been able to raise several hundred dollars for this worthwhile cause.”
The Humane Society’s mission is to “eliminate the number of animals being abused, neglected, mistreated, abandoned and euthanized.”
This organization is nonprofit and relies on volunteers and donations to help make a difference.
Go to stanlycountyhumanesociety.org/donate for details on donating.
