Misenheimer Community Playschool finished another school year with a brief program and a get-together for family and friends.

Directed by teacher Linda Gulledge, the children sang and danced their way though some of their favorite songs, nursery rhymes and fingerplays on May 21.

Each child received a small token in appreciation of their work and in congratulations for a successful year of learning.

In addition, Karrigan Lee, Karsyn Brady, Reed Speights, Savanna Faust, Savannah Sells, Simon Edquist and Wyatt Yow received a Preschool diploma.
Families then enjoyed a finger food reception as well as the chance to meet their children’s friends.

On May 22, the seven rising kindergartners were treated to a special day complete with painting a “Ready for Kindergarten” book bag, bouncing in a trampoline and enjoying the playground and centers together one more time.

The morning concluded with pizza and cupcakes.

Misenheimer Community Playschool is in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and has been in existence for more than 40 years.
