Stanly County’s website was having issues Monday.

Users have been blocked when trying to access the website. When logging onto the website, users likely have gotten either a “File not found 404 error” or a white screen with the words “Future home of something quite cool.”

County Manager Andy Lucas said the county’s IT staff is working on the issue and it should be resolved later today.

“The County is migrating from one host server version with GoDaddy to another,” Lucas wrote in an email. “As such, the migration is causing some sites to be inaccessible for a short period of time during the various migrations. The process was initiated on Friday and will be complete later today.”
