Katherine Loos and R.J. “Jason” Cirksena III were joined in marriage May 25, 2019 in Owatonna, Minn.

Jason is the son of The Rev Randy Cirksena Jr.

Pastor Cirksena served The Norwood Circuit UMC — Mt. Zion, Green Memorial and Cedar Grove in the South Stanly section of Stanly County — from 1987 to 1990.

The bride and groom are making their home in the Spokane, Wash. area, where Katherine is an employee of the U.S. Forest Service and Jason is a manager with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Federal Bureau of Land Management Fire Suppression and Fire Investigation work in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.

Also in attendance were Dr. Jenny Hinson, Lois Hinson and Bobby and Elliott Taylor, all of Albemarle. Dr. Hinson has been Jason Cirksena’s godmother since he was baptized in 1992.
