With the possibility of heavy rain and evening thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow, Oakboro’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show may be in doubt.

The Oakboro Fire Department says they will hold off on making an official announcement until Thursday. As of now, there are no plans to reschedule the show.
