Jacob Henry Almond is the recipient of the Memorial Baptist Church Scholarship.

He graduated from South Stanly High School and plans to attend Wingate University in the fall.
He was a N.C. Scholar, achieved honor roll and was on the Superintendent Advisory Council.
He has been active in his church, attending mission trips, leading Bible studies at his home and helping chaperon the fifth-grade retreat in 2018.
He has enjoyed baseball during his time at South Stanly High School.
He plans to attend both Wingate and Southeastern Seminary to become a Baptist pastor.
