Gray Stone’s women’s basketball team continued its recent trend of overwhelming teams with full-court defensive pressure as the Knights shut out visiting North Moore for three quarters in a 56-7 blowout victory Friday.

Secorra Medley led the Knights (4-0, 1-0 YVC) with 16 points while her younger sister, Niriah, added 12 points.

Danika Ray and Danielle Werts just missed double figures in points each scoring eight for Gray Stone.

Three Mustangs (0-4) scored in the game with Abbie McNeill leading with three points.

Gray Stone outscored North Moore 19-0 in the first quarter and led 32-7 at halftime.

From that point, the Knights outscored the Mustangs 24-0 in the second half.

This season, Gray Stone is averaging 21.5 points allowed per game, twice limiting teams this season to single digits for the game.

Gray Stone continues conference play Tuesday night hosting Chatham Central (3-2, 1-0).
