Pfeiffer names new head men’s lacrosse coach

Pfeiffer announced Tucker Nelson has been named interim head men’s lacrosse coach for the 2020 season.
Nelson has spent the past three seasons as assistant coach. He helped the Falcons to a 10-3 record and a perfect 8-0 USA South mark in 2018 finishing on an eight-game win streak.
In 2019, the Falcons finished 8-8 overall and 5-2 in league play.
During his time on the Falcon bench, he worked with the offense and man-up squads. He mentored younger brother Jared Nelson to USA South Player of the Year accolades in 2019 along with a number of new school records including career points and assists.
He oversaw John Allen’s single-season record of 65 goals scored, also achieved in 2019.
As a player at Binghamton he was named Male Athlete of the Year and was one of 70 Div. I players named to the Tewaaraton Watch List as well as playing in the USILA North/South All-Star game. He played professionally with the MLL’s Ohio Machine.
