Albemarle Police received a report of an armed robbery that happened in the parking lot of Little Tokyo, 1446 U.S. Highway 52 N., Albemarle, at 1:55 a.m. Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

The victim said a white vehicle approached him in the parking lot. Four individuals got out of the vehicle and began speaking with him. One of the suspects pulled a gun on the victim and took his belongings, police said. The four individuals then left.

Officers found the vehicle on Corbin Street in Albemarle. Detectives later charged four individuals with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Arrested were Dakota L. Dennis, 22, Samuel L. Butler, 19, Liam A. Taylor, 18, and Dale M. Butler Jr., 20. Each suspect received a $50,000 secured bond. Their first court appearance is at 9 a.m. Monday.
