Albemarle Police arrest robbery suspect
Albemarle Police has made an arrest in the case of two robberies from December.
Officers with Albemarle Police responded to Dollar Tree at 636 N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass East at 8:17 p.m. Dec. 22, 2019 for an armed robbery. Later that night, Papa Jones Pizza, at 633 N.C. 24-27 Bypass East, reported a robbery at 9:35 p.m.
On Friday, APD announced that after an investigation detectives arrested Terick Mike James, 34, of Albemarle with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. He received an $85,000 secured bond for his release.
His first scheduled court appearance is March 30.
