Due to the newest executive order prohibiting mass gatherings for the next eight weeks, the Outdoorsman’s Bonanza will host the drawing on the originally scheduled date of March 28.

There will be no gathering this year at Market Station. Instead, the drawing will be hosted by event staff on live stream video on Albemarle Downtown Development’s Facebook page, starting at 11 a.m. March 28.

The same original prizes will be available, plus the addition of 20 new prizes of $300 each to the Early Bird Drawings.

Prize winners will immediately be called as they are drawn. Also, winners will be posted on the event website at www.outdoorsmansbonanza.com.

“We had originally intended to postpone the event to May 2 so that ticket holders could still enjoy the party,” Albemarle Downtown Development Director Joy Almond said. “When the newest executive order took that date off the table, we felt it best to go back to the original date so that we wouldn’t keep our ticket holders waiting on prizes. I appreciate our everyone’s support of the Outdoorsman’s Bonanza and understanding during this trying time. I hope we can throw an even bigger party for everyone next year.”
