Hudson to host small business telephone town hall

U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson, NC-08, will host a Small Business Telephone Town Hall at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to provide an update to small business owners about resources available due to the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry, NC-10, who serves on the House Financial Services Committee, and co-authored the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, will join Hudson to discuss relief measures in place and answer questions.

The virus has already sickened roughly 464,000 people in the country with almost 17,000 having died. There have been more than 3,900 confirmed cases in North Carolina. including 74 deaths. Stanly has 11 cases and one confirmed death.
