The Stanly Arts Guild announces that the Patricia Blake Hartley Art Scholarship will again be offered to college art majors from Stanly County for the 2021 school year.

The scholarship for $1,000 is sponsored by the Hartley family in memory of their mother, a former member of the Stanly Arts Guild and strong advocate of art education.

Applications for the scholarship may be found online at www.stanlyartsguild.com, or by contacting Carole Poplin, scholarship chairwoman, at 704-438-4644.

Current plans are to deliver completed forms by May 30 to the Stanly Arts Guild, 330 N. Second St., Albemarle. If the gallery is still closed, contact Poplin to arrange for delivery.
