Locust to meet remotely next week

In order to maintain the safety of the citizens, staff and Council of the City of Locust, the regularly scheduled meeting for May 14 at 7 p.m. will be conducted electronically using Zoom software and be recorded.

The mayor, council members, city administrator, city clerk and all pertinent personnel will participate remotely.

What does that mean for those looking to attend and/or participate in the meeting?

Below are instructions on how you can view and participate if you so choose:

1. If you are using a computer browser, please visit the following link to attend the meeting: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/7898680890

2. If you have the Zoom application in your smartphone, you can join using the following Meeting ID: 789 868 0890

3. If you wish to participate during public comment, contact City Clerk Amy Meachum at cityclerk@locustnc.com with your full name, address, and comment.

The City of Locust is making every effort to ensure any and all who want to view and participate in the meeting are able to do so safely while also ensuring the City of Locust is complying with all statutory requirements.
