The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce continues to work on behalf of the county’s reopening process.

We have been and continue to answer questions, provide information, make referrals and advocate for our community. We are available by phone, email or our website.

We’ve worked on several projects this month and will highlight two of them for this article.

First, we have released the Smart Restart Stanly County guide.

As we move forward, we know you are eager to reopen your doors. To ensure the safety of our community and to help you navigate this new normal, we created the Restart Stanly County guide.

This comprehensive guidance includes many of the recommendations developed within the guidelines of the CDC and other federal, state and local agencies. This resource will act as a living document, which we will be updated as this fluid situation changes.

Though we know we wish to return to our regular lives, we must take necessary precautions during this time.

These guidelines will help you safely serve your customers and accommodate your employees. We have included our guide in several of our weekly newsletters, social media posts and it can be found on our website under our COVD-19 Resource page. Or, contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a copy of the guide.

Secondly, you have probably noticed our “Open for Business” signs popping up all around the county. We are providing the signs to our members to place in a prominent window or outside their business to let everyone know they are “open for business.”

We have taken photos of each of our merchants with their signs and used this as promotion for them throughout our social media channels. If we haven’t delivered your sign yet, we apologize as we are trying to get around as quickly as possible. Give us a call and we will try to get yours out to you at a time that will work best for you.

Thank you for supporting your Chamber of Commerce and Stanly County.
