Six candidates file for municipal elections

Monday marked the first day to file for municipal elections in the fall. Six people, a mix of incumbents and challengers, filed by the end of the day. People have until noon July 17 to file.
Candidates who filed Monday were:
- Incumbent Martha Sue Hall for Albemarle City Council Member At-Large;
- Incumbent Chris Bramlett for Albemarle City Council Member At-Large;
- Tim “TJ” Morgan for Albemarle City Council Member At-Large;
- Barry Sims for Locust City Council;
- Incumbent Harold Thompson for Town of Norwood Mayor; and
- Linda Campbell for Town of Norwood Mayor.
