Better Badin
This nonprofit volunteer group will meet again at Loafers and Legends on Falls Road at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Masks and social distancing will be necessary for all. Zoom will also be set up for those who still prefer remote access.

Plans for summer events are being finalized.

The Badin Lake Triathlon and Party on the Village Green has been rescheduled for 7 a.m. Aug. 15.

Badin Library
The Summer Reading Challenge is on. Through July 31 all ages can enjoy varieties of books in varieties of ways.

For a change, try reading under a tree or with a flashlight. You might read a comic book or a book about a faraway city.

Pick up the Summer Reading Book Stack (suggested reading list) and follow the fun suggestions. Submit in person at any branch or email shahn@stanlycountylibrary.org.

Badin Library is open Mondays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Town Council
Town Council meets at 7 p.m. July 14 in the Badin Conference Center. The public is welcome and requested to respect social distancing guidelines. Anyone wishing to speak to the council should sign in upon arrival.

Badin Presbyterian
The church has resumed in-person worship services at 10 a.m. each Sunday.
Out of consideration for others, wear masks and respect social distancing guidelines.
Pastor Dan Wray asks anyone who has a fever or has recently been exposed to COVID-19 to please stay home.

Badin Baptist
Pastor B.J. Bowers continues to lead worship via the church’s Facebook page.
The church has tentatively set Aug, 2 as the reopen date. The Church Council will meet July 23 to discuss reopening plans.

Badin UMC
Pastor Beau Linker is leading a drive-in worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Simply stay in your car and turn your radio to 801 AM to worship together.

First Baptist
Pastor Anthony Neal continues to lead Sunday School via Zoom at 10 a.m., followed by Sunday worship at 11 a.m. via Facebook Live. Access information is available on the church Facebook page. Everyone is invited to participate in the POP (Power of Prayer) call each Tuesday at 7 p.m. Further instructions are given on Facebook.

Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Neal for his recent graduation from Hood Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree.

Palestine UMC
The church will continue online services for now.
