Stanly Community College’s Small Business Center, in collaboration with the Stanly County Chamber of Commerce, will provide free and confidential business counseling to help qualifying Stanly County business owners recover from the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Reboot, Recover and Rebuild program was established to provide small businesses with counseling and helpful resources during this crisis and beyond.

“Many business owners in Stanly County have been struggling from the effects of COVID-19 and are unsure of what the future holds for them,” SCC President Dr. John Enamait said. “The Reboot, Recover and Rebuild program was built to help small businesses not only survive the COVID-19 crisis, but recover quickly and establish future business strategies to grow and prosper.”

By meeting one-on-one with counsel and completing a detailed assessment of their needs, small business owners are able to develop a specific plan for recovery. Industry and content experts will be available to aid in areas such as SBA Disaster Loan compliance, marketing/sales, customer retention, new revenue streams, website support, technology guidance, CPAs, lawyers and more.

“We encourage small business owners to take full advantage of this program that ends on Dec. 30, 2020,” Sandy Selvy-Mullis, president and CEO, Stanly County Chamber of Commerce, said. “We are committed to doing everything we can to help Stanly County’s small businesses as our local economy weathers this pandemic storm.”
