The following is from Natasha Krueger, principal of Stanly Academy Learning Center:

On behalf of Stanly Academy Learning Center, I am thrilled to be welcoming you back for the 2020-2021 school year! I hope this message finds each of you safe, healthy and eager to return to learning.

Things may be starting out differently, but I believe change can be a good thing when we approach it with a positive mindset.

Whether you have opted to attend classes in person or participate in full time remote learning, you will meet a few new faces on our campus.

Andrea Russell will be joining our staff as our assistant principal and I will be serving as your new principal. Both of us are looking forward to getting to know each of you and helping you to accomplish your goals at school and in life.

We are making adjustments that are needed to keep everyone safe and exploring new and exciting ways to engage students in learning at school as well as at home.

As you review the district’s Road to Reopening plans available on the SCS website, if you have any questions, concerns or comments for consideration, please feel free to contact our office for assistance. My door is always open and I am just a phone call or email away.
