An attempted breaking and entering was reported on North Second Street on Aug. 5.

A person reported being exploited on Aug. 5.

A person reported an attempted breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Leonard Avenue Aug. 5.

A report of fraud on Mockingbird Road between Jan. 1 and Aug. 5 was reported Aug. 5.

A report of discharging a weapon into occupied property was taken Aug. 5.

A report of larceny was taken on Arey Avenue Aug. 6.

Walmart reported shoplifting/concealment of goods at Leonard Avenue on Aug. 6.

Walmart reported larceny merchant prod. code fraud at Leonard Avenue on Aug. 6.

James Terry Patterson, 32, was arrested on charge of felony possession schedule I controlled substance at Palmer Street, West Main Street on Aug. 5.

Tristan Vanhess Wilson, 34, was arrested on charge of felony possession methamphetamine at Anderson Ridge Drive on Aug. 5.

Gregory Watkins, 57, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure at N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass E. on Aug. 5.

Brian Evans Mattox, 24, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of simple assault at U.S. Highway 52 N./Rotary Drive on Aug. 5.

Christopher Ryan Chavis, 31, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of simple assault at U.S. Highway 52 N./Rotary Drive on Aug. 5.

Warren Edward Barringer, 63, was arrested on charge of felony indecent liberties with a child at U.S. Highway 52 N. on Aug. 5.

Zane Curtis Moore, 25, was arrested on felony charge of possession of heroin at N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass E., on Aug. 6.

Austin Charles Braunsberger, 18, was arrested on felony charge of obtaining property by false pretense at South Third Street on Aug. 6.

Walter Thomas Braunsberg, 52, was arrested on felony charge of obtaining property by false pretense at South Third Street on Aug. 6.

Holly Morgan Strickland, 41, was arrested on felony charge of larceny merchant prod. code fraud at Leonard Avenue on Aug. 6.

Caroline Annette Honbarrier, 26, was arrested on charge of misdemeanor larceny at Leonard Avenue/N.C. Highway 24-27 on Aug. 6.
