• A person reported assault on Leonard Avenue Aug. 7.

• Walmart No. 1133 reported shoplifting/concealment of goods on Leonard Avenue Aug. 7.

• A person reported simple assault on Rogers Street Aug. 7.

• A report of found property was taken on N.C. 24-27 Bypass Aug. 8.

• A sexual assault on Lowder Street was reported Aug. 8.

• Bradley Dale Kimrey, 34, was arrested on charge of felony possession of schedule I controlled substance at Old Charlotte Road/Brooks Street, Aug. 7.

• Demario Tyevon Huntley, 30, was arrested on charge of felony possession of cocaine at Colston Street/Gibson Street Aug. 8.

• Candi Ernest Childers, 52, was arrested on charge of misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce at U.S. 52 North/Lynway Drive Aug. 8.

• Arlene Louise Neddo, 33, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of shoplifting/concealment of goods at Leonard Avenue Aug. 8.
