• A moped was reported stolen on Wiscassett Street Aug. 25.

• A person reported being victim of fraud on West South Street Aug. 25.

• Travis James Bennett, 27, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on East Main Street and felony charge of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance at N.C. 24-27 Aug. 25.
