• A person reported a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Coble Avenue Sept. 1.

• Richard Harold Eury, 80, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of assault and battery at U.S. 52/Salisbury Avenue Sept. 1.

• Jarbarri Randale Wall, 38, was arrested on felony charge of trafficking opium or heroin at N.C. 24-27 Bypass W./US 52 South Sept. 1.

• Michael Curtis Freeman, 37, was arrested on felony charge of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance on U.S. 52 South Sept. 1.
