Albemarle Police Department reports the following activity:

• The City of Albemarle reported a breaking and entering on North Second Street Sept. 3.

• Uwharrie Bank reported receiving an altered check on N.C. 24-27 Sept. 3.

• Timothy Daniel Motley, 32, was arrested on felony charge of breaking and entering at South Third Street Sept. 3.

• Hunter Ray Scott,  29, was arrested on felony charge of breaking and entering at South Third Street Sept. 3.
