The Stanly County Board of Education has called an emergency meeting for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Board of Education Administrative Office at 1000-4 N. First St., Albemarle.

The purpose of this meeting is to address Health Department discussions. The meeting will be held in open session and closed session to take action on any matters deemed necessary by the Board in accordance to NC General Statute 143-318.11(a)(6)Personnel Matters and NC General Statute 143-318.11(a)(1)Student Matters.
