Sheriff’s Office makes arrest, seizes more than 500 grams of drugs

The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 1120 Elm St., Albemarle, on Oct. 8.

Upon a search of the residence, 18.5 grams of cocaine, 14.7 grams of methamphetamines, 25.8 of ecstasy and 462 grams of marijuana were located, along with $1,021.

Timothy Eugene Richardson was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver MDMA, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substance.

Richardson has an initial court appearance of Oct. 19 in District Court in Albemarle.
