Stanly County 4-H sells greenery

Stanly County 4-H will once again sell wreaths, trees and handmade bows.

Orders will be accepted through Nov. 11 for pickup from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 20 at the back of the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center.

Seven-foot fraser fir trees are available for $55. The 8-foot fraser fir trees are sold for $65.

Standard wreaths are 12 inches and cost $20, while an 8-inch wreath is available for $15.

Bows can be purchased for $10.

To order, call the Cooperative Extension office at 704-983-3987 or email orders to lisa_forrest@ncsu.edu. Printable flyers can be found on the Stanly County 4-H Facebook page.

In an effort to reduce personal contact, it is prefered clients mail in payments and ask all others to bring exact cash or check on pick-up day (no credit or debit cards will be accepted).

Stanly County 4-H Staff will be able to help load greenery into truck beds only.

Proceeds go towards Stanly County 4-H and camper scholarships.
