She has taken on a very mature perspective and chosen to obtain excellence at SEC before jumping into college and career decisions.

Likewise, Abi has put much thought into her future plans and chosen to continue her education at Impact University in Albemarle to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries.

Throughout her time at SEC, Abi has been very involved in both academic and community programs alike.

She is the president of the National Honor Society chapter at SEC for the second year in a row and a nominee of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Good Citizen Scholarship.

Abi spends much time volunteering with Boomerang Church to aid in the production of the daily internet broadcast, takes part in the photography team and assists in both the media and children’s departments.

In addition, she works three part-time jobs taking care of kids ages 1 to 7. Taking part in so many extracurriculars while balancing her work at SEC has taught Abi the importance of time management, organization, perseverance and the art of effective communication.

She has made many connections with teachers throughout her high school experience, while the small class sizes and individualized focus of the school allowed her to excel through the program with confidence.
