The Low Income Assistance Program Provides a one-time annual vendor payment to help eligible families pay their heating expense.

For consideration through Dec. 31, a household must contain a member age 60 or above or a disabled person receiving a service through the Division of Aging (DAAS). All other households may be considered beginning Jan. 4, 2021 (if funds are still available).

Energy payments will be paid directly to the heating provider such as your power, gas or fuel company.

Households must make an application for LIEAP heating assistance.

It is helpful to provide your utility bill, proof of income and Social Security numbers when applying for LIEAP.
