Historic houses to be open this weekend

The Stanly County Historical Society will host a special Holiday Open House event at the Historic Snuggs and Freeman-Marks houses this weekend. Stop by 112 N. Third St. in downtown Albemarle from 3-7 p.m. Saturday or Sunday to see these historic houses decorated for Christmas.
The Snuggs House will be open Saturday and Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
Admission is free. However, donations will be accepted.
A selection of local history books will be on sale during the event. All money raised will go to support the Stanly County Historical Society.
Health and safety protocols will be observed. A face mask must be worn during the event.
