During December the Stanly County Arts Guild will collect dog and cat food, as well as take monetary donations, for Project PAWZ, in New London, and Lend A Paw, in Albemarle.

All those that donate will be given tickets to enter a drawing for a custom built pet house, on display in the store’s front window, as well as some custom made pet clothing, on display inside the Guild store. They will also be allowed to pick out a handmade collar or leash for their pet, while supplies last. The drawing will be held Dec. 31.
